Covid-19 lockdown has kept us home safe for the past 2 months. Lockdown levels will ease and we will be out and about again and traveling with our kids.

Let us spare a moment for our car seats. They have not been used as often as before and all the bits of food, juice spills and other bits and pieces have had ample time to fester and decay in a closed up car. Add to that the normal load of germs and spores you find in a car seat and you have a petri dish for infections. Add Covid-19 to the mix and shudder.

It is advisable that give your car seat a thorough clean before you use it again. Your car seat manual will have washing instructions on how to do this. It is a good idea to take photos of your car seat as you take it apart and then follow those photos back to where you started.
