When you visit the Mamahood website, our servers automatically receive and record the information your browser sends. This data may include:

• The webpage you visited before ours
• The pages you visit on our site

2.1) CONTROL OF DATA COLLECTION
You can restrict the collection or use of your personal information when registering on Mamahood. You’ll need to complete all required fields to create your account, but you can skip any optional fields.

 

2.2) EDITING AND REMOVING YOUR INFORMATION
Feel free to edit your Mamahood account information anytime. You can also request the deletion of your personal information. If you believe any information we have is incorrect or incomplete, please email us at listings@mamahood.co.za, and we’ll make the necessary changes.

 

3) HOW WE MAY USE YOUR INFORMATION

We collect information about your use of the Mamahood website and services for purposes like advertising, communications, identification, and analytics, and to improve and protect our offerings.

We respect your privacy and will not disclose any personally identifiable information without your permission unless it’s required by law.

 

3.1) COMMUNICATIONS & ADVERTISING
Occasionally, Mamahood may contact you via email for marketing, transaction updates, and service notifications. We may also send you news, promotions, and special offers.

If you ever wish to stop receiving these communications, just email us at listings@mamahood.co.za, and we’ll unsubscribe you.

 

3.2) PROVIDING & IMPROVING OUR SERVICES
If you choose the Mamahood advertising on your behalf option, we will create advertising posts for you 3 to 4 times a week. Please note that Mamahood does not post on weekends or public holidays.

 

3.3) SERVICE PROVIDERS
Mamahood may work with trusted third-party companies, like payment processors, to help us operate, provide, and market our services. This includes web analytics and general service improvements.

We share your information with these partners only to deliver our services. They have limited access to your information and can only use it for tasks we assign them. Rest assured, these service providers are obligated to keep your information confidential.

 

3.4) PROTECTION OF OUR SERVICES
We may use and share your information to ensure the safety and security of our services. This helps us protect our community from spam, harassment, intellectual property infringement, and other security risks.

Using Our Services

 

1) LICENSE TO USE OUR SERVICES

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, and revocable license to use our services, subject to the following terms:

• By using our services, you agree not to violate any laws or engage in unlawful conduct.
• You will not unlawfully offer, sell, or export goods and services.
• You agree not to illegally copy, interfere with, or distribute software or data, and to avoid contaminating our files or systems.
• You will not collect information about members or traders (including email addresses) or sales activities on Mamahood without our express permission.
• We may monitor your behaviour if we believe you are not adhering to these terms.

We reserve the right to revoke this license and deny services if you do not comply with these conditions.

 

2) AMENDMENT TO OUR SERVICES

Mamahood reserves the right to change, suspend, or discontinue any of our services at any time and for any reason. We won’t be liable for any impact these changes may have on you, including your income or revenue generation through our services.

 

3) USE OF MAMAHOOD’S CONTENT

You are not authorized to use Mamahood’s name, logo, trademark, or branding without our express written consent. Any unauthorized use of content from the Mamahood website is strictly prohibited.

 

Disputes

 

1) A DISPUTE WITH MAMAHOOD

If you have a dispute regarding Mamahood’s services or website, please follow these steps:

• Notify Us:
  Email a written notice detailing the nature of the dispute to listings@mamahood.co.za. 
• Amicable Resolution:
  Mamahood will try to resolve the dispute amicably. 
• Arbitration:
  If we can’t resolve it, the dispute will be handled according to the Rules of the Arbitration Foundation of Southern Africa.

Please note that you will be responsible for any costs incurred by us in enforcing our rights under this Agreement.

 

2) A DISPUTE WITH A MAMAHOOD TRADER OR MEMBER

If you find yourself in a dispute with another Mamahood Trader or member, we encourage you to reach out and try to resolve it amicably. 

Mamahood may assist on a case-by-case basis, but this is at our sole discretion, and we have no obligation to intervene.

 

Disclaimer

Mamahood serves as a platform and does not endorse any content provided by our Traders or Members. We are not liable for any claims or damages resulting from your use of our services.

 

 

 

1) ENDORSEMENT

As a platform, Mamahood does not endorse or represent any content, including business services, products, statements, information, opinions, or advice from our traders and members.

 

2) RELEASE

You release Mamahood and our entire staff from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses related to disputes with any Mamahood Trader, Member or third party. Under no circumstances will you hold Mamahood or our staff liable for any infringement of intellectual property rights, loss of profits, revenue, operational time, corruption or loss of data, or loss of contracts resulting from your use of or inability to use the website.

 

3) DISCLAIM WARRANTIES

Mamahood disclaims all warranties, express or implied. No oral or written information provided by us creates a warranty, and you should not rely on such information or advice.

 

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa.
