Unlimited Posting Rights

As a Mamahood Advertiser, you have unlimited posting rights across all Mamahood groups! This means you can create as many advertising posts as you like and share them 7 days a week.

Our platform is designed to help you grow your customer base and engage with our members—your potential new customers!

 

Advertising Guide

Once you subscribe, you’ll receive our Advertising Guide, which outlines the steps to successfully start advertising on the Mamahood platform. It also includes helpful guidelines for crafting memorable posts.

 

Admin Approval Hours

Our admin team is ready to approve your posts between 8 AM and 8 PM, ensuring a smooth and timely process for your advertising needs.

 

Maintaining a Positive Experience

We care deeply about providing a positive experience for our members. Happy and engaged members lead to vibrant activity, which benefits our advertisers too! To maintain this balance, we kindly ask that you post one advertisement at a time, with a minimum interval of 15-20 minutes between posts.

Unlimited Access to Mamahood Groups

Absolutely! As a Mamahood Advertiser, you have unlimited access to post in all the Mamahood Facebook groups whenever you like—7 days a week!

Absolutely! You can post in our Mamahood Facebook groups using your business profile, and we actually encourage it! This is a fantastic way to engage with potential customers and share your offerings with a vibrant community of like-minded individuals.

 

Why Post from Your Business Page?

Posting from your business page instead of your personal profile offers several advantages:

  • Professional Appearance: Engaging as your business enhances your professional image, helping to build trust with potential customers.
  • Access to Insights: Posts made from your business page will appear in your Meta Business Suite, allowing you to track engagement, reach, and other valuable metrics.
  • Enhanced Features: Business pages have access to tools specifically designed for marketing, such as scheduling posts, running ads, and promoting events.
  • Brand Recognition: When you post from your business page, your brand name and logo are displayed, making it easier for group members to recognize and remember your business.

 

Here’s How You Can Join:

1. Create or Switch to Your Business Profile:

  • If you haven’t already, set up a Facebook business account.
  • To switch from your personal profile to your business profile, log into your personal Facebook account, go to your business page, and select the option to post as your business.

2. Search for Mamahood Groups:

  • Use the search bar on Facebook to find our Mamahood groups. You’ll discover several eager communities ready to welcome you!

3. Request to Join:

  • Click on the “Join Group” button. Some groups may ask a few questions to ensure you’re a good fit, so be sure to answer them!

4. Start Posting:

  • Once you’re in, feel free to introduce your business! Share helpful tips, promote your products, and engage with group members. Remember, authenticity is key—people love to connect with real businesses!

Join Us with Your Business Profile

Men can easily join our groups using their business profile pages. This allows you to engage with our community and promote your services or products effectively. Posting from a business profile is straightforward and user-friendly, making it easy to share your offerings with potential customers.

 

Advantages of Posting from a Business Profile

1. Professional Presentation: A business profile allows you to present your brand professionally, enhancing your credibility among group members.

2. Increased Visibility: Posts made from a business profile are often more visible, allowing you to reach a wider audience and attract more engagement.

3. Access to Insights: With a business profile, you can track the performance of your posts, helping you understand what resonates with your audience.

4. Networking Opportunities: Engaging with other businesses and potential customers in the group can open doors for collaborations and partnerships.

We have 2 advertising options available, the We Advertise option and the You Advertise option.

 

We Advertise Service

The We Advertise option is where Mamahood promotes your business on your behalf.

When you register for our We Advertise service, we utilize the information you provide to craft a post for you on our Mamahood Traders page, which boasts over 24k followers. This post will be shared across all relevant Mamahood Facebook groups nationwide almost daily (excluding weekends and public holidays).

While we don’t create the content for you, we do put together a post using the text and images you send us. Mamahood may edit your text for clarity and appeal to ensure it resonates with our audience. 

You can also share links to other content or even videos, and we’re happy to work with any material you provide. 

Our goal with this service is to assist busy business owners who may not have enough time to dedicate to daily promotion on Facebook. With our help, we ensure your business gets the visibility it deserves through consistent posting.

Flexibility with We Advertise
You’ll also enjoy the flexibility to post as frequently as you’d like on all our Mamahood groups every day of the week, from Monday through Sunday, with unlimited posts.

 

You Advertise Service

The You Advertise option is where you personally promote your business to the Mamahood Facebook groups.

If you prefer to keep it simple and advertise yourself, then the You Advertise option is for you. With this service, you can create your own posts and share them in all the Mamahood groups aligned to your business.

There is no limit to how much you can post, so feel free to share your content from Monday through Sunday, with unlimited posts.

As a thriving entrepreneur with more than one business, you may be eager to promote each of them effectively.

To advertise each business under its specific name, you will need to subscribe separately to an advertising package for each one. This allows you to make distinct posts about each business in the Mamahood Facebook groups.

 

Combining Businesses: What You Need to Know

You might be wondering if it’s possible to combine your businesses into a single subscription.
We do allow this under certain conditions! If the products or services offered by your businesses are closely related, you can register them together.

Example of Allowed Combinations:
Kiddies Clothing & Nursery Decorations – These two businesses are similar enough that they sell baby/kiddie-related products and we would be happy to have them combined under one subscription.

Example of Unallowed Combinations:
Photography & Health Products – These two businesses cannot be combined, as they cater to different markets.

 

Important Details When Combining Subscriptions

When you combine two businesses into one subscription, please note:

  • You will only be able to register one business name.
  • All posts must be made using that single business name; you cannot mention the other business, even if you are advertising its products.

We appreciate the diverse structures of organizations with multiple branches, representatives, and coaches.

We consider each branch, representative, seller, or coach as operating their own business. This means that each will need their own personal advertising subscription to promote their products and services on the Mamahood Facebook groups.

 

Why Separate Subscriptions?

While we understand the desire to streamline advertising costs, maintaining separate subscriptions ensures that each entity can effectively manage its own advertising and reach its specific audience. This approach helps maintain clarity and compliance with our advertising guidelines.

 

Head Offices and General Branding

We do have many head offices registered with us. These offices can post about their brand and share general information about their business. However, please note that head offices are not permitted to post about their affiliates or individual branches.

We understand that many businesses operate with a team of individuals who contribute to advertising efforts. That’s why we happily allow more than one person to post on behalf of your business!

 

Adding Contacts Made Easy

Once you’ve signed up, adding additional contacts is simple. Simply drop us an email at listings@mamahood.co.za with their names and contact details, and we’ll take care of adding the new contacts to your account. 

 

Up to 5 Posters Per Business

Each business is allowed up to 5 posters. This flexibility ensures that you can effectively manage your advertising strategy and reach your audience with a variety of voices.

 

Keeping Your Account Updated

If a contact leaves your business, please let us know! This will help us keep your account current and ensure that only authorized individuals can make posts.

 

Branches, Reps, and Coaches

Please note that if your business has branches, representatives, or coaches, each of these will need to register separately. This ensures that everyone can effectively advertise their specific business on the Mamahood Facebook groups.

We’re excited to share that many home-based businesses in Mamahood haven’t officially registered yet. This means you can absolutely sign up without a business VAT number!

 

What About the VAT Number?

On our registration form, you’ll notice a field for a VAT number. This is specifically for those who are registered. We want to help set up their invoices correctly and ensure they can claim their VAT benefits.

 

No VAT Number? No Problem!

If you don’t have a VAT number, don’t worry! You can simply leave that field blank on the registration form. We’re here to support you, regardless of your registration status!

At Mamahood, we believe that having a website is a fantastic way to showcase your business, but it is not a requirement for advertising with us. You can easily promote your offerings in our Facebook groups without linking to a website.

Contact Details Matter

When creating your advertisement, it’s essential to include sufficient contact details so potential customers can reach out to you. Here are some options you might consider:

    • Phone Number:
      Share your phone number for direct inquiries.
    • WhatsApp:
      Include your WhatsApp number for easy communication.
    • Email Address:
      Provide an email address for those who prefer to contact you via email.
    • Facebook Profile Link:
      You can also include a link or tag to your Facebook profile, making it easy for customers to connect with you directly.
Future Opportunities

If you decide to create a website or another online platform in the future, you are more than welcome to add links to these platforms in your posts. We encourage you to keep your audience updated with the best ways to connect with your business!

At Mamahood, we understand that starting a business is a journey, and you may not have a business name or logo just yet. No worries! Here’s what you need to know:

Profile Name is All We Need

To advertise in the Mamahood Facebook groups, all we really need is the profile name you will be using to post. When we create your Trader Account in our system, we will use your full name as your business name by default.

 

Keeping Us Informed

If you plan to post using a profile name that differs from the one you used to sign up, please let us know. This way, we can make a note in our system, ensuring that our admin team can approve your posts without any hiccups.

 

Easy Updates

Remember, it’s easy to update your details in our system at any time! You can always make changes later when you have your business name finalized.

Building Your Brand Identity

While you may not have a business name or logo yet, we encourage you to start thinking about your brand identity soon. Customers often relate to and remember a brand name far more easily than a personal name. Building a recognizable brand can help you connect better with your audience!

Absolutely! At Mamahood, we understand that circumstances change, and you may need to update your business details, such as your phone number, email address, or banking details.

You might even decide to give your brand a facelift by updating your business name or the type of business you have registered.

 

Easy Updates

Changing your business name and details in Mamahood’s system is a breeze! Simply email us your new business name along with any updated contact or business details, and we’ll take care of the rest.

Keep Us in the Loop

It’s always important to keep us in the loop, especially if you are posting from a new profile name or changing the name of your business.

Our admin team will only approve posts using the names and business names logged in our system. To ensure your posts continue to be approved, be sure to keep us updated!

Full Control Over Your Package

You have full control over your advertising package! Whether you want to upgrade to the We Advertise option or switch back to the You Advertise option, you can do so anytime. It’s as easy as filling out a form!

 

Immediate Changes and Adjustments

Any changes you make to your account will take effect immediately, and your invoices will be adjusted accordingly. This means you can adapt your advertising strategy whenever you need to, ensuring you get the best value for your investment.

Understanding Our Subscription Model

Our advertising subscriptions are designed to operate on an auto-renewal basis. This feature ensures a smooth and seamless experience for you. 

 

Trying Us Out

You can absolutely register for just one month!
To do this, simply subscribe to the monthly package. Just remember, you’ll need to manage this yourself by cancelling your subscription before the next term begins.

 

Easy Cancellation Process

If you find that our service isn’t the right fit for you, no worries! You can cancel at any time—it’s as easy as filling out a form. There are no cancellation fees involved and your cancellation will be processed within 24 hours so no long waiting period! 

If you ever assistance, feel free to email us anytime, and we’ll be more than happy to guide you through the account management steps. 

You can always sign up again in the future and pick up right where you left off.

We appreciate your interest in making your advertising subscription payments via EFT.

 

Our Payment Process

We currently do not accept EFT as a payment method as we’ve found that some customers have had challenges with timely payments using this method in the past. To ensure a smoother experience for everyone, we recommend signing up for our monthly debit order system but with a tweak.

 

Flexible Payment Options

Once you’re registered, you can still make your payments via EFT before the debit order date each month. This way, you can enjoy the convenience of EFT while giving us the assurance of timely payments.

 

Important Details

When you register, you’ll receive a Welcome email that includes your first invoice. Our banking details will be provided on this invoice, which you can use for any EFT payments.

Just a friendly reminder: our debit orders are processed on the 25th of each month, so please ensure your EFT payment is received by then to avoid being included in the batch.

We know that everyone needs a break sometimes, and we’re here to help you with that! Whether it’s for personal reasons or just to take a breather, we’ve made it easy for you to pause your advertising.

 

Flexible Pause Options

You can pause your advertising for up to 4 months. If you find that you need a longer break, no worries—you can simply cancel your current subscription and rejoin later. Just keep in mind that pricing may change, so your previous rate might not apply when you come back.

 

No Charges During the Hold

While your account is on hold, you won’t incur any charges for the months you select. Charges will stop from your next scheduled payment date, allowing you to focus on what matters most without worrying about costs.

 

Important Considerations

During the hold period, please note that you won’t be able to advertise in the Mamahood Facebook groups. This ensures that when you return, you can hit the ground running!

 

Easy Process

Setting your hold is simple! It takes us up to 24 hours to process your request. Just visit our Manage page, fill out the Hold Form, and choose the number of months you’d like to pause your advertising.

Since our advertising subscriptions automatically renew, you’ll need to personally cancel your subscription by submitting the cancellation request form.

Please note that Mamahood cannot cancel your contract for you, so there’s no need to email us about your intent to cancel. Just follow the steps provided, and you can easily cancel whenever it suits your needs.

 

Re-register Anytime

If you decide to come back in the future, you can always register again whenever you need to take advantage of our advertising benefits. We’re here for you whenever you need us!

Absolutely! We’ve designed our subscription and account management to be super easy, allowing you to use our advertising service in a way that best suits your business needs. Here’s what you need to know:

 

Easy Account Management

You have full control over your account! This means you can cancel your subscription whenever you need to, and when you’re ready to return, the registration process is just as simple. Just head over to the Become an Advertiser page to sign up again.

 

Flexibility for Advertisers

Many of our advertisers choose to use the service for a few months, take a break, and then sign up again when they need another boost in their advertising. We understand that your business needs may change, and we’re here to support you through that!

 

Pricing Considerations

Keep in mind that if you were on a lower price than our current advertising fees, that price will not be available when you register again.

If you’re only looking for a temporary pause and are on a lower price, it might be better to simply put your advertising on hold. We allow holds for up to 4 months, giving you the flexibility to pause without losing your pricing.

We understand that many of our users have questions about the Trader Profile feature. Recently, Mamahood made the difficult decision to close our online directory and market. While we initially thought this would be a fantastic way for our businesses to shine online, we realized we didn’t receive the level of support we hoped for.

 

Why We Closed the Directory

Many profiles that were set up had outdated information, and the majority of products listed by our traders were often unavailable. This situation led to confusion for customers placing orders, which is something we take very seriously. It’s important to us that our members can trust the Mamahood brand, so we made the tough choice to close down the directory and market.

 

Focus on Advertising Benefits

We want to emphasize that this decision in no way affects your advertising benefits! Our main focus has always been—and will continue to be—on growing the Mamahood Facebook groups. We’re thrilled to see that these groups are very active and growing rapidly, providing a vibrant platform for our advertisers to connect with potential customers.

 

Clarifying the Trader Profile

It’s also important to clarify that the Trader Profile on the Market was always intended as a complimentary extra we provided. It was never a part of the subscription fee. Our subscriptions have always been focused on allowing you to advertise within the Mamahood Facebook groups, where you can engage directly with a large audience eager to discover your products and services.
